Description: |
Mea Culpa (Latin for "My Responsibility") draws its influences from the anthemic, melodic old school punk of bands like The Clash or early Social Distortion combined with strong themes of personal and social politics in the lyrical style of Billy Bragg or The Dead Kennedys, the slightest hint of punk'n'roll swagger and just a dash of outlaw country twang. Mea Culpa is a band with a purpose in an era of musical neutrality, seeking to revive the days when punk's intelligent songwriting, sense of humor and subversively melodic hooks wormed their way into the minds of many impressionable young people and introduced them to the possibility of constructive rebellion against political and social corruption.
Bill Bullock: Vocals, Guitar David Byers: Guitar, Vocals Terry Cook: Bass Johnny Koubourlis: Drums
