The Fireballs prove there's punk rock in them thar hills. Sure, they're isolated up there, but that only makes their sound more unique-- raw and powerful, with a ferocity that skips a couple of generations back to the Motor City and then leaps somewhere else entirely. You can hear some MC5, some AC/DC, maybe some Black Flag in the guitar freakouts, but it's hard to pin down exactly where that noise is coming from.
