This band hails from North Seattle via Florida, Olympia, and Mt. Vernon, Washington. Belle Jar creates a sound that is full, beautiful, and transcends the ho-hum college yawns of other pop-punkers. Their live performances invoke visions of Pussy Galore with pop sensibilities. They were previously called Sourpuss but decided on a name change when they caught wind of 5 or 6 other Sourpusses, but we know you will remember Belle Jar. Oh, yeah, they're all girls, kind of like the Brady Girls!
